About the Role:
We are seeking a Handyman/Service Tech in Pittsburgh, PA! We are looking for a skilled individual to help maintain and enhance our properties, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents. This is a subcontractor position. Must have all of your own tools and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties.
- Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct inspections to identify necessary maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs as needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents and property management.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman or service technician.
- Knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
